After an illness of a few days, Sarah Dewees Steeb, wife of Frederick Steeb, died late Tuesday of pneumonia and other complications.

Mrs. Steeb was eighty-three years of age and would have celebrated the sixtieth anniversary of her wedding June 5th, 1911. She was well known in Westfield and by her happy disposition made many friends; she lived and died a consistent Christian.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Sydney Cross, Rector of St. Paul's P.E. Church, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J.D. Taylor, 250 Walnut street, Westfield, N.J., Friday afternoon, at 2 o'clock.
