Cranford Man Commits Suicide.
Santiago Porcella, a sugar broker, with offices at 90-96 Wall street, New York, committed suicide at his home in Cranford on Saturday morning, while the sleigh was waiting at the door to take him to the station. It is thought that he stood before his mirror and fired the fatal shot. He left four children, his wife having died ten years ago. He was an Italian by birth. He had a flue home and was highly respected among his business associates and in Cranford. he was a member of the Presbyterian church, and of the Golf Club and other local organizations. No reason is known for his taking his life.
