Robert R. Doherty, D.D., one of the editors of the publications of the M.E. church, and at one time a resident of this town, died at his home in Jersey City, on Wednesday, of pnuemonia, aged 69. The doctor was a member of the board of education when here and took an active interest in local affairs. He leaves wife and one daughter.
