Son of Thomas M. and Zora Beard Alexander. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Minnie Lee Dunaway Alexander and two son's, Jimmie R. and Talmadge R. Alexander. He had worked as a logger for Clyde Price in Pricedale, MS. and later retired from Croft Metal in McComb, MS.
