Jacob Lee McLain, age 24, of Grosse Pointe and formerly of Jonesville, passed away Monday, July 23, 2007, at his home. He was born April 23, 1983, in Torrington, Wyoming. His parents are Darwin & Donna (Keil) McLain Jr., they survive in Jonesville.

Jacob was a graduate of Jonesville High School in 2003, a construction worker and a former longtime Jonesville resident.

Surviving besides his parents is a son, Hayden James Spalding of Clinton Twp., Michigan; a brother, Ryan William McLain of Jonesville; grandparents, Darwin & Orlena McLain Sr. of Jerome and William & Barbara Keil of Jonesville; great- grandparents, William & Thelma Bendle of Lake Columbia; he is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services for Jacob McLain will be Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Rev. Judith Kalom officiating. The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
