Nathaniel Paul Parks was born on March 28, 1903 in Oklahoma, to Taylor Tom and Martha Parks. He died on July 15, 1981, at the age of 78 years, at Minneapolis, Ottawa County, Kansas. He was a miner and stonecutter during his lifetime. Survivors include two daughters: Eva Jean Hamilton, Delphos, Kansas and Deloris Ann Collins, Topeka, Kansas; and two sons: Robert Wayne Parks, Tucson, Arizona, and Virgil Lee Parks, Sutter City, California. He was preceded in death by his wife; Eva Mae Cooley Parks, his sons; Cloy Jay (Dougan) Parks, and Jerry Bob (Tommy) Parks, and a daughter; Sylvia Sue Parks Brown. His burial is at Delphos Cemetery, Ottawa County, Delphos, Kansas.
