Merlie C. Price, 84, of Spencer died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002 at Eldercare of West Virginia, Ripley.
She was born at Tariff, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Florence Ann Holland Curry. She was a homemaker and formerly attended Henry's Fork Baptist Church, Tariff.
She is survived by one nephew, Paul Evans of Arnoldsburg; and two nieces, Delores Brannon of Pineville and Dotty DePue of Spencer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Price; one step-son, William H Price Jr.; one step-daughter, Rebecca Parkin; one brother, William Richard Curry; four sisters, Garnett Lee Curry, Maime Curry McBride, Opal Curry Evans and Eloise June Curry; and one nephew.
Service was Tuesday at John H. Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Leon B. Stickland officiating. Burial was in Clover Cemetery.
