MUSCATINE, Iowa - Lloyd W. Tomasson, 83, Muscatine, formerly of Columbus Junction, died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Lutheran Homes, Muscatine.

There will be no visitation. Private burial will be held. The Jeffrey S. Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory, 114 W. Fourth St., Muscatine, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Tomasson was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Muscatine, the son of William and Mae Anna Hearst Tomasson. He married Helen Mae Whitlow on Dec. 30, 1944.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Tomasson of Rapid City, Ill.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wilma Rock of Muscatine and Norma Schweitzer of Columbus Junction.

He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Robert; one granddaughter; and three brothers, Maro, Walter and James.
