Mrs. LeMaire attended Open Bible and Lighthouse Worship Center. She and her
husband owned LeMaire’s Cajun Catfish and Seafood House. She was a 1952 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, earning the rank of Tech Sergeant.
Also surviving are two sons, Rikki LeMaire, and his wife, Angie, of Loffelscheid, West
Germany, and Joseph LeMaire, and his wife, Gail, of Sedalia; a daughter, Vickki Abey, of Smithton; two brothers, John Earl Riley and George H. Riley, both of Sedalia; 14
grandchildren, Sheila Abey, Mark Abey, James Abey, Susan LeMaire, Tina LeMaire, Timothy LeMaire, Christina LeMaire, Stefanie LeMaire, Danielle LeMaire, David LeMaire, Ben Armstrong, Jason Armstrong and Stephanie Hopewell; and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two stepsisters, Charlotte Phillips and Mary Kennedy.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. J.D. Reed officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Cardwell, James Abey, Mark Abey, Jason Armstrong, Joshua McCandless and Domanick Bradford.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery
Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive
friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The family will close LeMaire’s restaurant Sunday and Monday to attend services.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Benton County Hospice.
Rosa Earlene LeMaire, 72, of Sedalia,MO died Friday, June 23, 2006, at her home, surrounded by her husband, children and family.
She was born June 8, 1934, in Sedalia,MO a daughter of Theodore Earl and Elsie May Kirkpatrick Riley. On Feb. 26, 1954, in Sedalia, she was married to Ray Joseph “Frenchie” LeMaire, who survives of the home.
