ALAN KENNETH COOPER, 77, of Houston TX passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008. He was born March 25, 1931 in Goose Creek, TX to William and Thelma Cooper. Alan was a graduate of the University of Houston. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was an active member of Eastgate- Park Place Masonic Lodge #1172, and Arabia Shrine Temple. Alan is survived by his companion Evelyn Blasingame; two sons, Kenneth Cooper and wife Donna, Keith Cooper and wife Lisa; brother, Dwaine Cooper and wife Jeanette; sister, Claudia Hyden and husband Odell; five grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM at Forest Park East in the Chapel of Faith. Entombment will follow at Forest Park East.
