I'm hoping to find any information or news artical, picture, on my Grandfather Charlie Miller. His father was Speed Miller William Speed's father was James Franklin Miller. Charlie's bother was the informant on death cert. Harvey Miller (wife Eliza). Charlie's mother was Mary (Moore or Hodge maiden) Miller. His wife at the time was Manice Miller, possibly went by Mary instead of Manice. His death certificate is all I have found, it list it was a homicide, yet I cannot locate any newspaper facts. It states he was shot in his home June 4th 1939 at 12:30am.the rumor was he was shot in a bar, yet death certicate states at home in Wilton Ky. (Knox Co.) He was 33 years old.It is possible he didn't know he had a son "Fred Miller" as my father would have been about 3 when he was killed and Manice or Mary was not my father's mohter.
