Hello to all.
I was hoping that someone may recognise familiar family details or names. I have 2 Aunties,1 in the UK,1 in Ireland and myself in Oz , all of us have hit the same brick in wall.
Any help at all, no matter how small, may help.
John/Sean Corrigan :Born-18/12/1878 ,Achill Island,Co Mayo Ireland.He was married twice . Fist wife was Mary Kilbane 1879-1908/11.Mary Kilbane is the father of my Grandfather Michael Corrigan 1904-1970.He also was born in Achill Island but he passed away in Stockton on Tees Co Durham England.This is where he married my nanna Elsie Hollifield. Some of my dad's siblings still live in Stockton.
We do not know if John/ Sean was an only child, we suspect that he did have at least one sibling, a sister I think.
His second wife was called Julia Patten 1881- .They were married on 20 Jan 1914. She was the mother to my Dad's Aunty Sarah.Sarah also had another sister called Norah,born 23 July 1915,She passed away about 1937/38.She passed away from T.B.
Julia's parents were Owen Patten and Martha Gallagher.
This man has been very hard to trace. Any help at all would be very helpful. Thank you.
