I'm trying to find the news report about the shooting of Micheal Rigney on 14 March 1875. The accused was Peter Claffy of Ferbane. If anyone has this info or know where to find it please let me know. There were three trials and several riots or so I have heard all centered around Ferbane county Offaly so there must be surviving records somewhere.
