John Coss Dead
John Coss, one of the oldest residents of Pease Township, died at his home on Scotch Ridge Monday evening, aged 85 years, after an illness of diseases incident to old age.
Mr Coss leaves four Sons, Alfred, George, John, and Robert all of this township, Two daughters, Mrs lizzie Cunningham, of illinos, and Mrs David McKim of Martins Ferry. His Wife died some years ago. Mr Coss was one of the leading menbers of the community in which he lived, living in that vicinity all of his life. No funeral arrangements have been made, but interment, will be in Weeks Cemetery.
