I'm a big fan of both newspapers.com and genealogybank.com. GB has more papers in more areas of the country, generally speaking and is easy to use. But newspapers.com is trying to catch up with complementary papers not already on GB and its interface with ancestry.com is great, where you can easily clip and save articles to your tree. My only quibble with newspapers.com is their tendency to over-represent the number of titles and major gaps in dates within those titles. Both are worthwhile subscriptions, but much comes down to what areas of the country and what time frames you're researching.
