The Governor has been please to approve of the following appointments, promotions, and resignations in the Territorial Police of the Colony.

Cornelius Stanton, District of Hobart, from the 1st of February last.
Michael Wheelan, District of Selby, from the 1st March last.
James A. Pierce, district of Hobart, from the 6th February last.
Edward Connolly, District of Franklin, from the 6th March last.
James Daley, District of Huon, from the 1st April.
Arthur Anderson, District of Hobart, from the 11th April.
PROMOTIONS
Thomas Hume Simpson, 1st C;lass District Constable, District of George Town, to Chief District Constable.
RESIGNATIONS
Francis Old, District of Selby, from the 29th February last.
David Townley, ditto, from the 11th instant.
John Peppard, District of Huon, from the 17th March last.
