ORIOUS as a female given name

Classification: Query
Surnames: BOESLEY, FIELDER
I would be interested in any suggestions to my query - my g grandmother was named 'Lizzie Orious Stokes' - and searching her tree, I found another relative, her cousin, named 'Lizzie Orious Fielder'. This name appears to be associated with the surname 'Boesley' (spelled MANY different ways) but although I have searched and searched, I can't find any more. of course, 'Orious' has been misspelled a lot, so I can't be sure. 'Orious' seems to be a Greek male name.... but I can't find a connection in this family - not the name of a ship - which I thought was a possibility. Any suggestions?
