Okay. But you say, "information we have says..." What "information" are you referring to and how do you know his USAAF number?
Do you know EXACTLY which name he was enlisted into the military under?
Do you know where he enlisted from or where he was born?
I have a paid membership at another site and there are more NARA records on military personnel than here. I'd really like to try to help if I can. If not, I wish you luck.
