I too have Jones in TN. But they married into the Green/e family of Williamson County TN.

A Nathaniel L. Green b. 1844 in Davidson County TN father is Gardner Green born in Virginia 1812 married Jamima GIBBS born in TN they both died in Cheatham County TN 1880. But one of their son's Nathaniel L. Green is in Van Zandt Texas on the 1880 census. His wife is Martha Blankenship both born in TN.

I think they left TN and moved to TX with the MORRIS family.

Does anyone have anything on any Green/e families in Van Zandt Texas ? Nathaniel must have died there.

Nathaniel's wife Martha and children all move into the Limestone Area; Dallas County, Tom Green County as well...but buried in Mt Antioch in Limestone Texas.
