Hi, I am a descendant of the Cyrus family who was on that wagon train. William Cyrus (born in 1820 in Granger Tenn), married to Mary Ann Deakins of Andrew county Missouri. Their daughter, Elmira Cyrus, was born in 1851 in Scio, Oregon and she is my great- grandmother. I really know very little about this side of my family (my mother's side) as they are all deceased and never spole much of their history. I would appreciate any history you might have.
