I know this is a long shot but Elizabeth Cotton is from Alabama, so I am hoping if someone reads this it may fit into someones lineage.
This George William Grizzle(Grizzell) and Elizabeth Cotton are my families Brick Wall.
Three of us (distant cousins)have found each other, thanks to the genforum and message pages, which has been a godsend, but we all have the same info.
None of us have been able to place George Wm and Elizabeth Cotton forward to the 1870 Census nor track them back to 1850 Census.
If anyone recognizes this line or has anything on this family, myself and other family members could sure use the help and would sure like to know what you have or exchange info.

All we have for this info is the 1860 census for Hamilton County, Chattanooga TN. The info in parenthesis is what we have been able to piece together from all our various family sources.
