I have a relative who was adopted. She later found her birth family (siblings). I think the adoption was informal. She listed her birth-parents on her marriage certificate but considered her adoptive parents as her family. She became close to her birth siblings however. I don't know how to handle this on a family tree. Who do I list as her parents? Can I list both? Or is it strictly "blood relations"?

You can list both an mark the birth parents as biological and the adoptive parents as adoptive. It does permit listing multiple parents.

Thanks so much for your reply. I wasn't sure if I had to stick to just "biological" family due to bloodlines, but when someone is adopted I do believe their adoptive relatives deserve a place in the tree as well!!!!

Speaking of bloodlines though, unless you want to make a present of a genealogy for the adoptive parents, you might not want to research their family line any further back.
For lineage societies, for example, you have to go with the bloodline.
