Lets give our heads a breather from all the records searching... I am currently easing a headache after staring at all the wrong people on here too long lol

So who have you discovered that has interested you the most and how far have you went back?

The most interesting perosn I have found is my Great-Great-Grandmother Madaline who after being raised by her Aunt in Canada returned to England, had one child out of wedlock and had about nine more who nearly all had disabilites. She was also widowed young and had to raise all her ten children alone with little to no income!

I've went right back to 1560 (When Queen Elizabeth I, was still a young Queen) on my father's side but I need to double check my research as there are certain people am starting to doubt.

Also am quite shocked that on both sides of my family I have unbroken lines of ancestors that have never left the Durham and Northumberland areas since the 1600's... Nearly 400 years and they've all stayed in the same area of England

If you're on about the Staffords then I know that they are descended from the white queen Elizabeth Woodville's sister. Not sure if there is a link there though but if there is that is the easiest way to go back because of the royal connection.

I totally hit a dead end with the Staffords might have another look at them and see if I can find anything else.
