My name is Melanie Viselli. My maternal grandfathers maternal grandmother was Maggie Elizabeth Ijames. I don't have any solid info on her, except to say that her father (or maybe grandfather) was Basil Gaither Ijames and he was married to a Doris "Dovie" Alice Brown. Through them i was able to trace that family down to a Sir Walter Leslie Earl of Ross (B. 1321) in Leslie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Maggie Elizabeth Ijames was born May 9, 1880. She died on April 20, 1902. She had four children, the oldest, Ossie Vera Snider was my maternal grandfathers mother.
I want to know if I am on the right track before I get too excited.
