Does anybody have any information about the birthplace or early life of Sir Oliver Starkey (d 1588)? Oliver Starkey was the last surviving member of the Knights of Saint John and was the only English Knight at the Great Siege of Malta 1565
He would of course have been both a Catholic and a member of the nobility (if this helps).
