I live in Martinez and there is a County Hospital located here. They do have a lock down unit and often see the prisoners from the local county jail also located in Martinez. The lock down unit is now being used as a psychiatric emergency unit. The United States do not have any mental hospitals in use, that is a product of the Reagan administration and one of the problems we face with our homeless (those patients kicked out of hospitals when they were closed) good luck...
