Tacey Murphy Marlow Taylor Allman Caine
I am hoping to track any sufferers or carriers of this genetic condition which passes through the female line in the hope of finding how many families link up. As this condition was only identified in the 1950's there is in the way of family histories about the condition.
My husband is the first known member of the family to be diagnosed with the condition and not until comparatively late in life. The doctors seemed to suggest that his condition was caused by a new random mutation, but anyone who has studied any family knows how easy it is to have relatives that you don't!
If anyone has a family member with this condition I would love to hear from them and to see if our trees connect. I am not looking for personal information about individuals and will of course respect privacy, it is purely an attempt to see how many sufferers prove to be related, as this is a comparatively rare condition.
Surnames that I have which may connect are Tacey, Murphy, Marlow, or calling themselves Taylor whilst actually being Marlow all in the Leicestershire/Derbyshire area and te names Allman and Daine from the Long Eaton (Derbyshire) area or from Cheshire. I anticipate the names Allman and Daine being the most likely to have a connection, but all information is welcome.
Thanks in advance for any information you would like to share.

Hi Karen,I would be interested to have a list of the names you are researching to see if any of them connect to the vast pile of notes and names I have already. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack but very rewarding if you find any connection. My e-mail is
