BirthMark: Brown spot in Left blue eye? (Termed: Sectoral Heterochromia).
I'm seeking info on a BirthMark I have: a brown spot in my left blue eye, right eye is blue (Termed: Sectoral Heterochromia). I have straw-blond hair, and reddish-blond beard.
My Uncle: Oscar Faugust, son of: Alma Alquist + Gus Faugust of Jacksonville, IL, USA. They were of Swedish + Danish decent. Also had this same BirthMark.
My Great Aunt: Nell Faugust used to tell me as a child that it was a, "Mark of Swedish Royality!" My Mother scoffed at this.
Recently, a lot of attention has been paid to this trait as the Actress: Kate Boswell has the same BirthMark. There's now even contacts which can be worn to give the 'look' of sectoral heterochromia.
I did some research and apparently this trait was most common in the Royal Families of Russia, Denmark, and other European Courts.
*Seeking any further specific info, and knowledge of individuals whom also have this trait! It's apparently quite rare, and gene, which is recessive must come from both parents!

I have the same thing, it is a little more common although it is still rare. Neither of my parents side of the family that i know of have this in their eye. My boyfriend also has this and again their is no trace of this on either sides of his family.

Google the trait. Also, curveature of the spine. Lazy bowels. Genius IQ. Highly resessive. If Ours are nearly idenitical, than we're no doubt related.

Try Googling the Condition. I also have a related condition (apparently) curvature of the spine, bends to the right towards the right sholder blade. And colon problems. + high I.Q. To answer Your ?: could mean that we're related, of course; have a common(s) heritage. You may contact me at: kenndrescher@yahoo.com*NOTE: The Photo is an example I found on another board; not my eye!

Re: BirthMark: Brown spot in Left blue eye? (Termed: Sectoral Heterochromia).
I have blue eyes with brown spot in left eye since birth. Half Hungarian with other half English, Irish, Swedish, Danish, German mixed Western European heritage.
I found one 2nd cousin twice removed in Hungary and one male stranger in Florida with same eyes.
Where did you find the information you posted on Sectoral Heterochromia? (i.e. royalty, both parents must have recessive genes?)

Re: BirthMark: Brown spot in Left blue eye? (Termed: Sectoral Heterochromia).
I was trying to find some information on sectoral heterochromia and I found my way here.
My right eye is blue and my left eye is green(ish) with a brown spot in it. I'm Finnish and so are my parents. My father is pure Finnish, but my mother has got some relatives in the States and Sweden.
If anyone has information on this condition, please let me know!

Re: BirthMark: Brown spot in right blue eye? (Termed: Sectoral Heterochromia).
Hi kenneth, I was doing some research on sectoral heterochromia and your post came up. I have the same conditions, right blue/gray eye with a large brown spot (dark brown hair with olive complexion - but some curls) - for my aunt it was very prononced. My daughter has green eyes with a central light brown ring - central heterochromia. All my aunts have light gray/blue eyes. I am a twin and it runs in the family. I come from north west of Brittany, in the north west of france - a celtic region with its own dialect (very close to welsh) : I have done some genealogy research: Boul'ch - origin is from wales, cornwall or scotland on one side and Rosec on the other - unkownn) . It has also been documented that this part of France was under strong scandinavian influence, and today Bretons are still a rather closed community (loads travellers & sailers) i can send a pdf. Aby other info is welcolmed,
