There is Medical college of Virginia, but in the 1820's it may not have been called that...so check with them any how...as they should be able to tell you...you should be able to look them up on line!
good luck...I am trying to find a medical school in Vt.1840's!?
My ggggrandfather was Dr. Thomas Porter b. approx. 1825, possibly Vt. and is said to be educated in Vt.
I have yet to find out where!
