Looking for information re: a Smith family who came to Nova Scotia in 1783 and settled in Wilmot, Annapolis Co. Nova Scotia.
My gggrandfather was William Smith b. 1830 in Advocate Habour.
He had children...Rebecca, John, Walter Austin, Maria, William, Ammie, Carrie Maude
I know this is a real long shot with a name like Smith and so little info.
I would love to know about William's family and where they came from before settling in Nova Scotia.
