I am looking for information on loyalist Sugar King who was on the pay roll of Camden, Rocky Mount Regiment of Militia Col. Willm. Vernon TURNER, 13 June - 14 Dec 1780, listed as a private, as well as other pay rolls.

Some verbal sources indicate he was the grandfather of Thomas J. King, therefore, father of LtCol George Washington King. I would like further proof, as well as birth date and date of death.

His name is also included in the list of those who were on the muster roll of those on the ship Argo going from St. Augustine to Chedebucto, Halifax, 31 Jul 1784.

Any information on him, his descendants, and ancestors will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
