Am researching the family of William WALLACE, b. ca 1751 in Ireland, emigrated to South Carolina and served in Colonel Richard King's Regiment, Long Cane Militia, Upper Ninety Six Brigade, British Loyalists after Charlestown (now Charleston) was taken in 1780. William moved to Nova Scotia abt 1782. Was granted 500 acres near West Gore. He died in January 1813.
Would like to exchange information with others researching this family.
