Hello there, I am very new here, I havent used anything like this before so would love some pointers and help if possible.
I am trying to find my mothers side of the family, her parents divorced when she was 10, shes now in her 50s and in jan 2011 lost her mother then 23rd dec 2011 lost her twin brother. She has no other family other than her children now so I wanted to try and trace some history for her. Also if it could be found that her father is still infact alive to maybe find him. I know this is a huge long shot but I'd really like some help/advice if possible. The person I am trying to trace is Mr Anthony Peter Johnston, he would of been born around 1933 in Belfast. He moved to a town called Grimsby in england where he married my grandma June Pauline Tatam in 1957. My mother and uncle were born in 1958. My grandma and "anthony" were divorced in 1968 ish time which is when my mum last saw her father, as he was filing for custody of them but it never came about. She believes he re married once he moved to Nottingham and believes has two other children.
I apologise again for my lack of knowledge on how to use Ancestry, I would appreciate any help that can be offered.
