I wonder if anyone can help to find my 2nd cousin David Lee.

David and his twin sister Daphne were born on 3rd May 1941 in Andover, Hampshire to Marjorie Ivy Lee (my great aunt) They had an older brother Peter Lee b 1939 in Basingstoke and Margaret Lee b 1938 in Salisbury.

Margaret is desperate to find her brother as she grew up not knowing any of her family. All the children were put into care in Wiltshire as Aunt Marg wasn't married.

In 2006/7 Margaret made contact with her sister Daphne who after two meetings decided that she didnt want to get involved and said she didnt know what happened to her twin David.

Last year Margaret found us - her mothers family- but unfortunately her mother had passed away only weeks before at the age of 97. Her brother Peter passed away in 2006 and Aunt Marg had selective memory when it came to talking about her children.

We have found a possible marriage for David to a Margaret Ann Pearl Parkins in 1971 in Winchester but we can find no birth details for her. We have the marriage certificate which has no details entered for either of the fathers so it looks as if Margaret could have been born out of wedlock.

I found a possible record for a child of David and Margaret - Cathy Ann Lee b April 1977 in Redbridge, Hampshire ( 3 miles from Southampton)Mothers maiden name - Parkins. Again, no more info on her either or any other children

If anyone can help in the search for David I would be so grateful and it would make Margaret at the age of 73 so happy.
