Hi,

My mother's mom gave birth to many children, one of whom she gave away without naming him. He was born July 25, 1967 in San Diego County and then given away sometime after that. I was led to believe that he was not put up for any formal adoption, just given to a neighbor or friend of my grandmother's. Her name was Georgia Irene Himbury (married: Byers then Huffman). I have to find out where exactly she lived at the time, but it was definitely SD county. If anyone has any leads or ideas about this I would SO appreciate it. I don't know much about that side of the family and found this missing link during my research. My mother, grandmother are dead, and the listed father of the baby (Byers) was not the true dad, and is dead also. Pretty much stuck.
