Hi, My mother told me that my Uncle had been put in an institution by his wife. That is all she said. I can't ask about it online, because I might embarrass (or infuriate) living relatives of whom I am not aware. He was born in Tioga or Bradford County Pa. around 1867. He probably lived there as an adult; I am assuming he did. I don't know where to begin. I don't know how to get patient information from an institution if I do find out which one it was. It is also possible that my mother was wrong. Any advice from someone more experienced with this than I am would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
