I am researching some Germans from Russia who settled in Zitomir, Ukraine. Samuel Emil Ettermann and later, a son named Alexander Samuel Ettermann immigrated to Canada in the early 1900's. Alexander later came to the USA and lived in North Dakota, and settled in Cleveland Ohio. I am trying to find out more about their origins in Russia and back in Germany.
