My grandfather Trofim Datcuk arrived in US in 1912 at the port of Philadelphia. He gave his birthplace as Sudilkov, Russia. He had two brothers which also came over at other times. Peter the eldest married but didn't have children. Sergi arrived after my grandfather and settled in Pottstown, Pa. He married Barbara Daisy and they had two children. Last name has also been spelled Datchuk, Datsick, Datsuk. My grandfather's cousin came to the US through Canada. Unfortunately I don't have his last name, only the first-Shingcall and the spelling is phonetic. He never married but I don't know if he had children. I believed that he died in NY.
