Can anyone tell me which were the most common ports or immigration routes into the U.S. for Slovak immmigrants who settled in Fairport Harbor, Ohio or the Great Lakes region in general?

One of my ancestors, John Poytosh (sometimes spelled Paytosh) arrived in the U.S. on Apr. 11, 1888, according to his naturalization record. His older brother George Paytosh/Poytosh, arrived about 12 years earlier. I've checked several databases available online with no luck, so I am trying to find alternate ways to locate the ship name or passenger manifest for the Paytosh/Poytosh family. I hope to get some hints on where in Slovakia/Hungary the Poytosh/Paytosh family emigrated from.
