Surnames: Kolodzeizik
I am researching for any information I can get on the Kolodzeizik family originaly from Poland but then moved to Germany prior to World War II. My mother was Helene, she had siblings by names of Gertrude, Mitty, Herbert, Ruth, and her twin sister Elizabeth. Her mothers name was Anna and her last known address was 4294 Isselburg Healden, Millinger Str. 45, Germany.

Your query is on the wrong board. You should try Poland's and Germany's board.

Would you have a place of birth in Poland?

KOLODZEIZIK is this a spelling that your family came from Poland to Germany or is it Germanized?

Our Pastor in Spangler, PA was Father Thaddeus (spelling) Kolodziej, from Poland in the 1950s, wonderful Priest. He passed away suddenly. In Corpus Christi, Texas, I have seen that Surname. There was the original Polish Catholic Parish here in Texas, in Panna Maria, Texas, they come from Minnesota and Michagan at the invite of the Mexican Gov during the 1860s or 1870s. The Church is still here and beautiful and so is the graveyard, and people from up North still request to be buried here in the cemetry. It has such a wonderful, peaceful look, and at Christmas, people come from Corpus Christi and other towns for midnight mass in this lonely Catholic Church out in the dry brush of Texas.

We had a Polish catholic Priest in Barnesboro/spangler, PA named Father Thaddeus Kolodziej from Poland. I have his picture somewhere unfortunately he passed away suddenly in Florida on vacation, in a restaurant. A wonderful Priest, Polish Catholic School, St. Stanislaus.
