I have found some info on my great grandparents on the 1910, 1915, 1920, etc census. They allude to them arriving in 1904-1906. I assume on the census when it says Immigration it means arriving to the US that year and not when they became citizens. I believe my great grandfather came a year or two before his family. My grandfather was the youngest of 5 kids and it shows, which I know he was born in US. So the years make sense. I am trying to find the ship and place they came to America but getting no results. They had to have come by ship. All of them but my grandfather were born in Russia.
Can anyone help?
Names are : Great Grandfather Jacob Eiseman - Wife Yetta Eiseman, Kids - Samuel, Winifred, ***, Lottie, and my grandfather Morris.
On the censuses they have their last names as Erseman, Iseman, and Eisenman but the correct spelling is Eiseman. I assume when they came over it could have been anything.
Thank you so much!
