I believe he was the brother of my great grandfather Samuel Morenski. I have some information of the family tree if you are interested. Can I ask your connection to him?
Thanks.

Hi
I've just discovered your reply to my post from Jan 2015. What you say fits with what I thought. Jack Isaac Morenski is my Great Grandfather. If you are willing to share any information I'd be in your debt. His daughter Sarah is my grandmother. ( she changed her name to Sylvia Morris).
Thanks for your reply and please accept my apologies for not seeing your post earlier.

Hi, thanks for replying. I do have some information, but its either on paper or on my old computer. I will sort out what info I have and get back to you in the next week or so. I do remember that the 2 brothers Jack and Samuel came over to England from Russia which at the time included Poland and the Ukraine. They came via Germany, probably Hamburg where they stopped for a few years and Samuel had a child there. They came over and settled in London as tailors as you mentioned with their mother who died around 1905 and whose grave I have found and visited. If you look at a site called FreeBMD you can find some details of the Morenski family, although some are listed as Marenski or Morensky. One thing I have not been able to find out is where they came from originally. Anyway I will get back to you as soon as I sort out what information I have.
Yours
