Hello everyone,
I found the immigration record for my gg-grandfather, his sister, niece, nephew, his father and mother (my ggg-grandparents). I now know they arrived in Baltimore Maryland in May 1884 on the Saltier which departed from Bremen, Germany. We know from declaration of intent and naturalization records that they declared they were from Posen, but the Lonowskis in the area don't know anything about us. So what are my next options?

Can I contact Bremen, to see about the point of departure lists? Can I contact Germany to see about a passport/writ to leave, as they left during the occupation of Poland? Any advise and assistance would be appreciated.
