On the ship Surrey that arrived on Apr. 18, 1882 in New York was Jacob Graefenecker with his family. The last name is transcribed as Grafenscher and Grafenscker. Only the initials of the first names were used. I would like to know, if one or more of them died on the ship. I am not sure, if there is a note, though.
