Hi, I am hoping that someone would be kind enough to help me. I have an ancestry account, but in the UK and I can't afford to pay for worldwide membership at the moment...

I have done a search for William Melling, my great grandfather who disappeared around 1915. He is a big mystery - no one knows what happened to him. He had links with New York (his father worked on the sewers out there) and was a builder / sanitary engineer.

He was born in June 1881 in Liverpool, and by doing a search I have thrown up 5 results for New York Shipping lists for William Melling born between 1880 and 1882. I just can't access them!

If anyone would be kind enough to have a look for me I would be incredibly grateful. I would happily return the favour if there is anyone that needed UK records I can access.
