Hi,
I believe my Ancestor, Rose Sansome (Samson) sailed from England in 1890 (23rd April) on the ship "City of Chester" to New York. She was registered as a servant, single, was 18 and her full name was Rosamond Elizabeth, but known as Rose. The passenger manifest is very feint so its not possible to see who she was servant to, though there is a good chance it was someone from Worcestershire. Would really appreciate some help in the following 1) Does anyone have full transcription of the voyage by City of Chester (1890, left Liverpool 23rd April) 2) How do I go about tracing Rose afer her arrival n New York, via naturalisation, census or marriage records? Thanks Geoff Sansome
