On "Border Crossings: from Canada to U.S., 1895-1935", I have found St Albans, Vermont as a point of entry. When I look at a map, St Albans is on Lake Champlain. On the original passenger manifest, the port of entry is recorded as Buffalo, NY.
I'm confused. Can someone outline the route a ship would have taken to be in both St. Albans and Buffalo?
Thanks.
