Hi I am trying to trace if Charles Douglas Stevens born 1860 in Edinburgh ever came to NZ. It would be between 1905 and 1912. There is a grave in Wellington NZ for a Charles Stevens with the right birth date and place with the correct occupation metal merchant who died in 1912 but I can't actually trace him leaving Scotland. His son Gilbert got married in NZ in 1909 so I think it would be either be for this or not later.

His son Gilbert John Robertson Finlayson Stevens (great name)def came out to NZ around 1901 or 1902 poss via South Africa and I have failed to trace his ship either.
