War Bride Arrival Records?

Surnames: Stephenson
My Grandfather served in the Korean war 1950 - 1953
At some point he met a Korean woman who we know he married.

The problem is since the 1950's he never talked about her and only mentioned her once or twice while he was married to my Nanna. My Nanna can't remember her name or anything about her other than she was Korean.

My grandfather was John Stephenson born 1930 Cherster Le Street, Durham. He died 1991

I am guessing they married in Korea somewhere (not sure how i will find that record) but what I am asking for is if anyone can find me a record of a Mrs. Stephenson arriving in Durham during the 1950's that was Korean. I generally don't know where to look. I don't know her first name or maiden name. There were rumours they had atleast one child but again my grandfather never talked about his first marriage or about his life before he met my Nanna.

I think he would have had to get the OK from the Army before he married a Korean national so the Army may have a record of her name

Your Nanna's marriage cert should say whether Grandpa was divorced or widowed. (1956)

My Nanna said she thinks she lost her marriage certificate years ago before he even died. I asked her if it said directly if he was divorced but she said she wasn't sure and can't remember. There was also a rumor he was a bigamist but I found no evidence of it.
