Hello listers.
I’m doing a research about my great-grandfather Francesco Paolo BRUNO, born in Trapani, Sicily, Italy on August 30th, 1860 who emigrated in U.S., and his son Nicolò BRUNO who was born in Trapani on February 15th , 1892 (brother of my grand-father) who reached him lately.
But now I’m stuck in a point.
This is the story.
Nicolò BRUNO (line 19 of manifest) and his uncle Dionisio SCONTRINO (line 16 of manifest), coming from Trapani, left the port of Naples on ship “Patria” on October 1st, 1904 arriving to Ellis Island on October 19th.( on the ship there was also Donato BRUNO, uncle of Nicolò).
Nicolò BRUNO was going to reach his dad Francesco Paolo to Ruston, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
Francesco Paolo BRUNO some day came back to Italy, and left to U.S. again.
First he booked to leave from Palermo on January 7th, 1906, on ship “Sicilia”, reaching Ellis Island; but he never took that ship (in fact his name on manifest is lined up) because he left 3 days earlier, on January 4th , 1906, from the port of Palermo, ship “Vincenzo Florio”, arriving to New Orleans on January 21st or 24th .
Francesco Paolo declared that he already have been to U.S. between 1902 and 1905 in New Orleans – line 12, column 15- (in fact, as I already said, his son Nicolò reached him to Ruston on 1904).
I can’t find 1902 Francesco Paolo BRUNO manifest. I don’t know what port the left and what por the reached in U.S.
I already requested to NARA to look for it on the following port of entry:
Ellis Island, New Orleans, Galveston, Boston, Charleston, Philadelphia, Baltimora, San Francisco.
But nothing was found.
I also requested to FHL to look for his name on 1903-1904-1905 New Orleans directories. Nothing found.
I attach the Francesco Paolo and Nicolò Manifests
This is my web site about Nicolò BRUNO and his emigration

Any help or suggestion his really appreciated.
bye ricbru.
